Our skatepark Idea Parks get you started.

We make it easy to fire up your imagination. We have thousands of Skatewave® designs to give you ideas for your unique skateboard park. From smaller budgets to interesting sites to demanding riders, we've worked through many challenges with our customers. We can work with you to create a completely customized park that will thrill riders and the community alike.

There are many types of skateparks, and we've divided them into categories.

Skate Spots are smaller skateparks that meet the basic needs of riders, in their own neighborhood.  These scaled down versions of larger parks allow riders to practice their skills in their own backyard before taking them to a larger destination park.

Our Classic skateparks are larger and showcase all the primary features you expect in a skatepark, like banks, ramps and street obstacles. These skateparks feature a variety of designs, from the moderate to the more extravagant.

We also design BMX parks that are made specifically to meet the durability needs and challenges of BMX riders. BMX riders can ride and enjoy any park, but they typically prefer bigger transition, larger banks and spine ramps to stay challenged.

Plazas are the fastest growing trend in skateparks.  We design Plazas to mimic commonly seen objects like the planter boxes, stair sets, rails and platforms found in every city. The many elements that go into these Plaza designs include platform sections and obstacles from our Urban Series. These include ledge and grind combinations, stairs, rails, barriers, skate board ramps, tables and benches.

Another option is to create a Hybrid Park, which combines the best in both concrete and modular steel!
