Skatewave® 3.0 modular community skateparks offer the "extreme" in engineering and manufacturing. Precision engineering processes, robotic welding and meticulously-fitted interchangeable parts are the foundation of a skatepark experience like nothing else.
Every Skatewave 3.0 part is produced in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility which has been certified to both ISO 9001:2000 for quality and ISO 14001:2004 for environmental standards. Every part is thoroughly tested for quality, both in the lab and in the field.
We use TekTrak™-coated steel skating surface. It's 12-gauge sheet HRPO steel that has factory-drilled, countersunk holes finished with zinc-enriched epoxy primer then powdercoated with TekTrak, a UV-stabilized textured Super-Durable TGIC polyester powdercoat.
We use heavy-duty, 11-gauge cross-rib channels robotically welded to 7-gauge end plates every 9 inches.
We use tamper-proof PEM® nuts and steel fasteners that are press-fit into the cross-rib channels to attach the steel skating surface.
We use a single weldment comprised of 10-gauge perforated sheet steel, 42" high, with vertical 5/8"-thick solid-steel rebar every 3-1/2".
We use adjustable foot levelers that use rugged, 5/8" stainless steel threaded ball stems with super-tough nylon foot and NBR rubber base.
In addition, we use super-strong Permalene® enclosures, a polyethylene substrate for stability, high-quality transition plates, galvanized edge protectors and more.
