Stewy's Skate Park

Stewy’s Skate Park in Hernando County, Fla., is dedicated to the memory of a 12-year-old who lost his life after a tragic skateboarding accident. It serves as a reminder how important community skateparks are to the safety of today’s youth. View the video about Stewy and his skatepark.

Skatewave Goes to Ireland

The first European Skatewave skatepark opens in Ireland in Ennis, County Clare. The problem of skateboarders skating on the streets and car parks has disappeared since opening and it continues to draw in riders from outside Ennis and across County Clare. Read more.

Skatewave Demo Tour
The 2006 Skatewave Demo Tour kicked off in April in Minnesota. A converted indoor hockey arena made a perfect indoor setting for the mobile skatepark. There was a pro rider demo, prizes, giveaways from our sponsors and more. Find out more here.
