Commitment to kids and healthy living cause for Special Heart Award

MINNEAPOLIS – February 7, 2007 – Barb King, co-founder and president of Landscape Structures Inc., was honored with the Special Heart Award for creating the Säjai™ Foundation, a national nonprofit organization that promotes healthy lifestyles for children and families. The award was presented to King during Landscape Structures’ annual sales meeting in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Through the Säjai Foundation, King is working to combat childhood obesity and to inspire wise health and nutrition choices for youth. The Foundation is the result of her passion for children, commitment to healthy living and concern for the future of us all. King has taken a multifaceted approach to the Foundation, which involves children, families, schools and communities. Her enthusiasm for healthy living and children will offer practical tools that focus on King’s work of the past 35 years—play and fun.
