Contract to benefit agencies purchasing park and playground equipment

Delano, Minn. (Sept. 28, 2010) — Landscape Structures Inc., a Delano, Minn.-based commercial playground equipment manufacturer, has announced that its park and playground equipment are now available to purchase through the HGACBuy, a nationwide government-procurement service that establishes competitively priced contracts for goods with the assurance that all contracts have been awarded through a competitive, public bidding process that is compliant with state bidding contracts.

To become an HGACBuy contractor, Landscape Structures went though a public competitive bid process with the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H GAC).  Following the review of interested parties and H GAC’s Board of Directors, Landscape Structures was awarded the contract on a term of two years.

HGACBuy membership is available to local governments, states, state agencies and nonprofit organizations, and is free and easy to use. The best part of the HGACBuy program is that is allows agencies to have complete control of the quality and design of the playground equipment being purchased.
