Skatewave™ Unveils New 2.0 Products at National Recreation and Park Association Show
MINNEAPOLIS, October 16, 2002 — Skatewave™, the largest manufacturer of community skateparks in North America, unveiled new Skatewave 2.0 products at the National Recreation and Park Association show Oct. 15.
Like all other Skatewave 2.0 products, these new products feature a PVC-coated, heavy-gauge steel. The products include three new quarter pipes in heights of 4', 6' and 7', plus new launch boxes, banks and spines in both 4' and 5' heights. In addition, there is a 45-degree hip and a 4' x 8' deck that is ideal for creating obstacles for BMX freestylers.
Skatewave also reintroduced its 2' pyramid and 3' banks with new angles. Three new pyramid ledge configurations are also available on pyramids with the new 4' x 8' deck.
These new and enhanced obstacles were designed based on feedback from riders and customers. The products can be seen by visiting the Skatewave web site at www.skatewave.com.
