Landscape Structures Inc. (LSI), the manufacturer of Skatewave®, is a leader in innovative products that both challenge and excite youth, while at the same time keep them as safe as possible. We are one of the founding members of the International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA), and an active member of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).  By certifying our equipment to several U.S. and international standards, we show our commitment to safety.

IPEMA
In the interest of public safety, the International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association provides third-party product certification services for U.S. and Canadian public play and skatepark equipment and U.S. public play surfacing materials.

CPSC
The Consumer Product Safety Commission is a governmental organization that provides technical safety guidelines for designing, constructing, operating and maintaining public playgrounds and skateparks.

ASTM
The American Society for Testing and Materials is an open forum that develops international standards used around the globe.  All skatepark equipment developed by us complies with the latest revision of ASTM F1487-05, the Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for Playground Equipment for Public Use, through IPEMA. 

CSA
The Canadian Standards Association is a not-for-profit membership-based association serving business, industry, government and consumers in Canada and the global marketplace.  Nearly all equipment developed by us is certified to meet CAN/CSA-Z614-03, the Children’s Playspaces and Equipment Standard, through IPEMA.

CEN
The European Standard was developed by the European Committee for Standardization.  The majority of our products have been designed to be TÜV certified by a third party validator to EN 1176, the European Standard for Playground Equipment.
